About
I am a multimedia artist whose practice brings together photography, sculpture, and material experimentation to explore memory, place, and the emotional significance of everyday objects. Through photographic and sculptural investigations, I examine how domestic spaces and familiar materials reveal emotional geographies that speak to inner-landscapes.
My research is rooted in material exploration and alternative photographic processes, with a particular interest in expanding images through ceramics and other alternative materials. I investigate the relationship between material, memory, and place, considering how objects can carry personal and cultural histories while shaping our understanding of identity and belonging.
Additionally, I am an artist-educator with sessional teaching experience. My teaching philosophy is largely informed by my own studio practice and extensive educational background. My approach to teaching focuses heavily on process where technical skill, experimentation, research, self-inquiry, and dialogue with peers and mentors work together to support thoughtful and informed artistic practice. I strive to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence while creating a supportive environment where students can develop their own distinct visual language.
